Querete accesorios

Two young women from Buenos Aires started their own accesories brand "Querete" (love yourself). All their pieces are unique, handmade and there's only one of a kind. Their stuff is really beautiful...

I had the opportunity to work on their corporate identity. They wanted to reflect the soul of the brand: fresh, very feminine, romantic but still contemporary. I designed for them a logo, business cards, flyers and communication material like a little teaser video. I hope you like...

     

Feeling inspired...

Today I woke up feeling happy and willing to create...  It's a beautiful morning and the warm sun light comes trough the window, the fresh flowers and flagrant lavender on my desk just seem to smile at me... I've been thinking on some new projects.... maybe today is the perfect day to start working on them!

Justine and Caleb | Second part...

After designing their wedding invite, Justine and Caleb asked me to do all the stationary for the big day... Menus, table numbers, seat name tags, signature book, sparkles packaging and a label for the wine they are giving away as thank you gift for their guests.... 

It was such a nice project... Specially when they saw all the final design, they were super happy with it... What better reward as a designer than having happy clients.... Wishing all the best to Justine and Caleb in their new married life!!! ♥♥♥♥

Mands and Darren's wedding

Mands and Darren got married!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ What a beautiful day, what a beautiful wedding... definitely best wedding ever.... Mands looked really gorgeous and Darren proved what a charming man he is by singing a song he composed to his bride in front of all the guests...  They were sincerely happy and they seemed to have enjoyed every little moment of their big day. Here are a few photos that I would like to share with you....

Jess and Mark's engament party

My friend Jess got engaged to Mark. They invited us to celebrate at her parent's garden. I loved the deco and the sweet table was gorgeous and yummylicious...  heart cookies, handmade cones made of magazines, colourful flags hanging... here are some pics...

Justine and Caleb's Wedding invitations

After doing the wedding invitations for Darren and Amanda, another couple asked me to design theirs. They wanted something very romantic, vintage looking, and wanted to include some kind of postcard. For their invitation I used different kind of papers, from Liner to Bier paper. The Main invite looks like a postcard and has a stamp with the bride and groom's initials. Instead of using a regular envelope, I used a rustic looking string and a hand-cut round tag with the guest's names. I also designed table name tags with different ribbons and the couple's stamp. I hope you like...

Mand's and Darren's wedding invitations

So, my good friends Mands and Darren asked me to do an illustration of them to include in their wedding invitations… Then I thought if I'm doing the illustration, what if I design the invites for them? They wanted something cute, modern and fresh… So this is what I came up with…

A main invite with the illustration of Mands and Darren + RSVP card + Directions and extra info all printed on Rive Trad paper in China embossed natural envelopes.

I must admit I enjoyed so much designing the wedding invites. I looked at some webs for inspiration, mainly from the states, and they have amazing stuff… Their weddings are just ridiculous… hehe

Anyway, after this experience, I'm really looking forward to designing more wedding invites…

L.O.B visited us at the house

This group of four surfer boys from Durban stayed at the house for a few days... They call themselves LOB crew (Leather Over Bitches). It could be quite a rough slogan but the base is the all classic: "friends always first"... Wishing good waves to the Leatherines and many more trips...

Psychedelic Seaside Circus party

Another little job for IIIEIIIE... I worked together with Marcelle Marais, brilliant illustrator, designing poster, tickets and banners for a rad party happening at a beach on New Year's eve in Kenya.... 

And here is one of the posters printed... It's huge... hehe
